It’s really quite difficult to highlight all the things that Cindy and Matt were able to do for us because it’s alot! There weren’t there just as photographers, but also as friends, as their charisma and spirited personalities allowed us to feel relaxed and comfortable, when picture taking can usually be an awkward and slightly confusing affair. They somehow were able to capture all the perfect moments both up close and from afar and they did so without being noticed at all! As for the quality of the photos and the turn around time, well we were beyond amazed. She provided us with hundreds of beautiful pictures within a relatively quick turnaround time. We would highly recommend her, not just because she’s a photographer, but because she’s a storyteller – when you get your pictures back, you’ll see what I mean.

Home is where the heart is, and mine is in Bristol, Quebec. I’ll mostly capture stories in the Pontiac, Ottawa and Gatineau, reveling in the quaint and quiet. While I sometimes venture to the Thousand Islands, Petawawa and Algonquin Park, my lens tends to focus on the local – where every snapshot feels like home.

Snagging your date is easy – just a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer. The final balance is due 30 days before your I do’s. Act fast, as I’m a first come, first-served kind of deal and only photograph one wedding per weekend.

Why I Became A Photographer in Ottawa

Picture this: a kid, knee-high to a grasshopper, running through the countryside of Metcalfe, Ontario with a camera that was almost too big for her hands. That was me – the one who lived to catch the light, the laughs, and the candid shots that everyone else missed. Fast forward through my 20’s, and that same passion had me chasing stories at weddings across Ottawa, each click of the shutter capturing a chapter of someone’s love story. My lens has seen the colours of Thailand, the calm of Korea, the expanse of Nunavut, and it’s brought all those palettes back to the canvas of the Ottawa Valley and my roots in Pontiac, Quebec. Through the viewfinder, I’ve watched my world expand and shrink back to the essence of what I’ve always loved; telling stories with a camera that now fits just right in my hands.
