Intimate Pine Lodge Wedding – Robyn & Ronald

We started working together in 2014 but didn’t hang out for the first time outside of work until the Spring of 2015. After that first night we were inseparable. A couple of months into the relationship my cousin was in town from Ottawa and we had shown her around our town and Ronnie saw me eyeing this antique amethyst cocktail ring. He bought it for me and later that night after some social drinking we were walking down this cute little historic street and he got down on one knee and “fake” proposed to me with the ring. My cousin took pictures of the whole thing and it was kind of always a running joke that led to further and more serious discussions about marriage. The actual proposal took place in Ocean City, MD which is one of my favorite places. Ronnie knew that I wanted it to be private moment so he waited until the evening when not a lot of people were on the beach, and proposed as the sun was starting to set. I had no clue it was going to happen but was very excited. We celebrated at the beach and took a sunset paddle boarding tour of the bay. It was the most special day of my life.
