Intimate Pembroke Wedding
The day finally came for me to photograph Kelly & Connor’s Intimate wedding in Pembroke! I met them last year on the farm where they posed with the cows, horses, ferrets and even a little frog during their engagement session…check out those pics here. I was so happy they could go ahead with their small wedding as planned and it was a spectacular day!
When we got engaged two years ago, we chose to get married in Sebastopol Baptist Church, where my Great Grandparents dedicated their lives to one another in 1926. History sure has a way of repeating itself. Within the decade leading up to their wedding, the Spanish Flu pandemic occurred. Of all the obstacles we could have imagined with planning our wedding, a global Coronavirus pandemic was certainly not one of them. Unlike the majority of engaged couples who were forced to postpone their wedding, we were fortunate enough to be able to proceed with our original wedding date. Navigating through the ever-evolving pandemic was challenging in the six months leading up to the wedding, but given the restrictions, this just made for a more intimate, special and memorable occasion.
