That’s exactly what we experienced during Lauren and Tyler’s engagement session at my garden studio, Lottes Homestead Gardens. And let me tell you, their playful pup, Murphy, brought an extra layer of awesome to an already epic evening.

Their Love Story

Lauren and Tyler, high school sweethearts, have been rocking life together for over 14 years. Their journey is one of love, adventure, and shared dreams. Tyler popped the question in September 2023 while they were cruising the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park—a moment forever etched in their hearts, symbolized by a stunning sapphire ring that echoes the glacial lakes.

Hobbies & Fun

These two are the definition of outdoor enthusiasts. They camp every year, and when the weather cools down, they dive into video games and board game nights. They share a love for travel, photography, and animals, creating a life full of laughter and joy. With three cats—Fenris, Moose, and Piper and their latest addition, Murphy, the model puppy, their family is rockin’!

Lottes Homestead Gardens

The engagement session took place right in my backyard. When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m puttering around our gardens, where the vibrant flowers and greenery provid the perfect backdrop for sunset engagement photos. Murphy, their adorable puppy, brought an extra dose of cuteness and energy, making for some heartwarming shots. As the sun set, the golden light enhanced the beauty of the garden, creating a dreamy ambiance that perfectly captured Lauren and Tyler’s love for each other.
