Stonefields Fall Ottawa Wedding
October 14, 2018
Celeste + Taylor gathered with friends and family and celebrated their love with an intimate wedding at Stonefields Estate. When Casey and I arrived at Stonefields, the first thing we noticed were the gorgeous flowers and pumpkin centerpieces decorating the barn for this October wedding. We hung out with the boys as they suited up, noticing their flashy Nintendo socks. Then we snuck into the farm house to see what the girls were up to. Celeste took a moment to open a letter from Taylor that had everyone anxiously watching her reactions. Next we ushered Taylor out to the front of the house for their private first look. before the actual ceremony. Celeste opened the door and had her first view of how handsome Taylor looked all dressed up. This was such a special moment to capture for them. Then it was time for the ceremony. They took a moment to thank their parents which had everyone wiping away tears. When it came time to their personal vows there were more tears and laughter. After the ceremony we took some family pics and even got Grandma and Grandpa to kiss. After that we headed to the back field for portraits and were pleasantly surprised when the owner, Steve, set up a little picnic for the lovely couple. As the sun started to set everyone headed to the barn for dinner and drinks and dancing. It was such a beautiful day and we are so happy you chose Casey and I to capture it. Congratulations Celeste + Taylor! xoxox
We met at Nipissing University in North Bay, ON. He lived across the hall from my friends in residence. The night we met we needed an extra player for Cranium so we invited Taylor over-I got partnered up with him (which I wasn’t happy about since I’m very competitive). We lost the game. From that night on our mutual friend bugged us to go out with each other, she eventually set up a blind date for us and we never looked back! We moved here 3 years ago for Taylor’s job and he proposed on Canada Day under the fireworks on Maple Island in Ottawa surrounded by our closest friends. – Celeste
In the spirit of fall, we want to embrace everything that makes fall the best season: beautiful, colourful leaves, cool breezes, comfy sweaters, snuggles by campfire. We want our Stonefields Fall Ottawa Wedding to be just that: nostalgic, comfortable and fun. We want the night to be about our past and the memories we share with our family and friends, but also a celebration of the life we have started to build together and our dreams for the future.
