Ottawa Greenhouse Wedding-Aquatopia Water Garden

Morgan & Dave’s beautiful outdoor ceremony took place on the family farm in Quyon, Quebec. We first met the happy couple here in the spring to take some engagement pictures and scope out the property before the wedding. Morgan spent her childhood summers up at the farm and later started bringing Dave around, so it was truly a special place to have their ceremony.

Everyone who knows Morgan knows her dad and his Model A Ford so what better escort for the girls to take to the ceremony.

Just as we finished exchanging vows, I paused and looked out at the crowd and suddenly a gust of wind swirled around everyone. I said to Dave, “the farm felt that one” and then later on in the evening we had people coming up to us with comments from “when that wind came in – it was magical – like mother nature was responding to the love” to “that gust of wind was amazing, but I also got grass under my contacts”

Morgan found this beautiful dress from David’s Bridal, which she wore with a loose waterfall braid by the talented Hair Stylist Trish Racine-Emmerson of Studio Glam. Dave’s suit was custom made by Indochino and added a hint of sophistication that looked handsome against all the natural elements.

We took the Quyon Ferry across the Ottawa River on our way to the reception at Aquatopia and had to stop at the lil’ skipper sign for a kiss!

Being plant lovers, Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory was the perfect place for Morgan & Dave’s reception. The talented team at the venue took care of the day of event planning and the stunning floral design!

Morgan customized the wedding stationery with designs from Pretty Little Papers.

It’s always nice to have a talented sister, especially when she can make you this awesome wedding cake! And check out the super cute beeswax candle wedding favours made by the bride and groom with personalized embroidered initials done by Morgan herself!
