Enchanting Sunset Engagement at Lottes Homestead Gardens: Allysha & Shamus’ Love Story
You know those moments when everything just clicks? That was the vibe during Allysha and Shamus’ engagement session at Lottes Homestead Gardens.. We had the perfect combo of a golden hour sunset, a killer location (my backyard), and a couple totally in love. Plus, their awesome dog, Nova, made the day even better. As an Ottawa wedding photographer, I live for sessions like this—where everything feels effortless and the moments are just real.
Their Love Story
Allysha and Shamus? They’re the kind of couple that makes you believe in the power of finding your person. Shamus is the calm to Allysha’s spark, and together they just work. Their connection is genuine, and it was cool to see how much fun they have together. It’s not just love—it’s like they’re best friends who’ve figured out how to keep each other laughing.
Why Lottes Homestead Gardens is Perfect for Ottawa Garden Engagement Photography
For the past ten or so years, I’ve been spending a lot of time with soil under my nails, creating a secret garden right in my own backyard. Now, I’m inviting couples to come out and experience this relaxed, magical vibe, perfect for Ottawa garden engagement photography. This recent session with Allysha and Shamus, along with their dog Nova, was nothing short of enchanting. With the warm glow of sunset and the natural beauty of Lottes Homestead Gardens, we captured moments that truly reflect their love. Lottes Homestead Gardens offers the perfect setting for Ottawa garden engagement photography, especially during the golden hour when everything feels more intimate and natural. We wandered through the greenery, caught the last rays of the sun, and just let things unfold naturally. Nothing forced, just them being them. And then there was Nova, their dog, who stole the show a few times—especially when Allysha leaned in to kiss Shamus and Nova gave her seal of approval with a wagging tail. That shot? Definitely one of my faves from the day.
Getting to capture Allysha and Shamus’ story in such a relaxed, beautiful setting was a blast. I’m stoked to be a part of their journey and can’t wait to see what their wedding day brings. If you’re on the hunt for an Ottawa wedding photographer who’s all about those real moments and chill vibes, let’s connect. Seriously, I’d love to be a part of your adventure.
