Kazabazua Backyard Wedding

Our love story is quite unique, and very special. Alex and I, have known each other since birth. Our fathers have been best friends for many years, with our family remaining close for the entirety of our lives. Even though Alex and I lived far apart, as soon as we each got cell phones, (when I was 14 and he was 16) we spoke every single day. We remained best friends since then, told each other everything, and confided in one another. We would see each other on weekends to go snowboarding, horseback riding, and camping.

During the summer of 2017 Alex and I realized our friendship was becoming something more, and while on the dock, looking at the stars and talking, we had our first kiss. Our relationship began at that moment, and now we are still best friends, but also partners. On May 4th, 2019 Alex brought me to the Westport lookout, where we stood overlooking the town and the water, Alex proposed. It was a beautifully intimate moment with no one around, surrounded only by the view and the trees behind us.
