Julie-Ann + Trevor - Marshes Golf Club Kanata Winter Wedding

We had been talking about our future a lot. We wanted to sell our house and buy a new one and that was our main priority before even considering getting engaged and having a wedding. I of course was still hinting about wanting to get engaged but Trev pretty much shot me down every time and had me believing he wasn’t interested in getting married yet and I had half accepted it. For Christmas this past year we were headed out of town to spend Christmas with my parents and grandparents. My grandfather was sick and we knew this would probably be his last Christmas. On Christmas morning after all my grandpas personal support workers left and we were ready for gift opening Trev passed me my stocking and when i turned back to look at him he was on his knee asking me to marry him. It was the most perfect proposal! My grandpa was a very important part of my life and Trev knew that he probably wouldn’t be here for our wedding and wanted to make sure that he was a part of this special moment. 3 weeks later my grandpa passed away.
